The spasms that would tightened around the area would be extremely painful but with massage and physio it eventually went away but for some reason now its back and tighter that ever, I tried everything, from massage, chiro, hot baths, heating pads, stretching and even injections of Lidocaine. I have a session of physio again in in weeks. Please tell me how to get rid of it

After my MRI, have been diagnosed with DDD due to sedentary positions and work. I have had knots in my piriformis and gluteal area which were released over several MFR sessions. Now I have been exercising my glutes, hamstrings, abs, and other muscles for over 4 weeks now. However, I still continue to have the pain in the lower back if i sit for more than an hour. I am clueless as to why my muscles became so weak and how long will it take for me to completely recover

I dont know if its a knot or something else. It started January when I carried a laundry and I felt my neck cracks. It hurts so bad. It heals, but after a month I sat the whole night and my neck hurts again and it forms a visible bump. Hard bump. What will I do? It hurts when I touch it. I didnt consult to any doctor or physical theraphist. What is it? Is it muscle knot?

One thing I think you overlooked was how medical conditions can also cause knots or muscle soreness.

I have Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHMD), an inherited muscle disorder that causes progressive breakdown of muscle fibres and results in muscle atrophy and weakness. This disease affects everyone differently to varying degrees and I consciously stay quite active to try and counter balance it’s affects and although stretching, dry needling, massage and using foam roller are helpful, I don’t do it as often as I should (ie daily).
