Keyah King

Takeyah (Keyah) King is Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In this role she is responsible for developing, executing and aligning the company’s people strategy with its business objectives by ensuring that the organization has the capabilities, leadership and resources required to scale and support long-term business performance.

Keyah provides executive leadership and oversight for the Human Resources function. She partners closely with the Executive team on organizational design and effectiveness, providing leadership for enterprise initiatives focused on leadership and workforce capability including talent attraction, talent development, employee engagement and retention and ensuring scalable HR infrastructure, policies and systems are in place to support a performance-driven organization.

Keyah has twenty years of progressive HR experience including extensive experience building and leading HR Business Partner, talent development and HR Shared Services teams. Prior to joining Athletico Keyah worked at Follett Higher Education and TreeHouse Foods where she obtained significant experience with mergers, acquisitions, integrations, divestitures and labor relations. Prior to her transition into the HR field Keyah worked for over a decade in the Legal profession as a Paralegal.

Keyah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from Ball State University, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Concordia University Chicago and a PhD in Business Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
