Back in March during inclement weather, an elderly new patient was getting out of his vehicle and fell, hitting his head on the ground and injuring his hip. Cheryl’s swift action to assist-calling 911 and insisting the gentleman go to the ER–ultimately saved his life. The gentlemen ended up having a subdural hematoma–the patient’s daughter called Cheryl the next day stating her actions saved her father’s life.
