Athletico Agrees to Comprehensive Recapitalization and Secures Significant New Capital
Raises $80 Million of New Financing
Reduces Net Debt by $750 Million
Oak Brook, IL – June 5, 2026 – Athletico Physical Therapy, a leading provider of high-quality orthopedic rehabilitation services to communities, employers and athletes, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with a group of its stakeholders to support a transaction that will substantially deleverage its balance sheet. The stakeholder group has committed to provide $80 million in new financing and reduce Athletico’s net debt by approximately $750 million. The transaction will significantly improve liquidity and extend debt maturities, allowing Athletico to continue focusing on providing top-notch care to its patients.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions.
