AthletiCo’s Derek Goins Talks About New Schererville, IN Facility With NWI Times

Derek Goins, Facility Manager at AthletiCo’s new Schererville location, sat down with the Northwest Indiana Times to discuss AthletiCo’s expansion into Indiana as well as Derek’s familiarity with the area. A native of Schereville, Derek helped Lake Central’s baseball team reach the State Finals for the first time in 2000 before continuing his career at Bradley University. After suffering a serious rotator cuff injury during his sophomore year, Derek underwent several months of physical therapy and quickly became interested in pursuing it as a career.
