AthletiCo’s Jason Bannack Honored with Patriot Award

Posted on

AthletiCo’s Jason Bannack, Director of Athletic Training Services, was recently awarded the prestigious Patriot Award.  The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve conducts an awards program designed to recognize employers who are strong supporters of their employees in the military, and Jason was nominated and selected as a recipient.  Employers qualify for recognition when they practice leadership and personnel policies that support employee participation in the Guard and Reserve.

Jason was nominated by Bisi Akindele, Athletic Trainer with AthletiCo, who is an active member of the United States military.  When nominating Jason, Bisi wrote: “I have been with AthletiCo for close to eight years, and within that time frame I have been deployed twice and have been called to duty, schools, and training numerous times.  My job has been sacred, and my reintegration process has always been an easy transition.  Jason Bannack is one of my supervisors who managed to keep in contact with me on a regular basis while I was deployed.”

As part of his recognition, Jason received a Department of Defense Certificate of Appreciation and a Patriot lapel pin.  Congratulations to Jason on being recognized with this esteemed award!
