Chicago Bulls and Athletico Announce New Long-Term Partnership
February 27, 2014 — The Chicago Bulls announce a new long-term agreement with Athletico Physical Therapy, continuing their 10-year partnership and expanding the Oak Brook-based company’s presence to include presenting sponsorship of the Bulls practice jersey, which is worn during all team practices. Athletico will continue to serve as the Bulls’ Exclusive Physical and Occupational Therapy Provider.
“The Chicago Bulls are excited to announce the renewal and expansion of our partnership with Athletico,” said Scott Sonnenberg, Vice President of Corporate Sales for the Chicago Bulls. “The Bulls have developed tremendous respect for Athletico and its leadership over the last decade, and we know they share our commitment to the health of our players and Bulls entertainment teams both on and off the court.”
“For over ten years the Bulls have been a valued partner to our organization,” said Mark Kaufman, President of Athletico. “Extending our partnership was important to advancing our brand and to ensure we can continue to help support the players and Bulls entertainment teams to reach their goals.”
In celebration of the partnership announcement, the Bulls and Athletico launched a Facebook promotion this week giving fans the opportunity to win an authentic Bulls practice jersey and a VIP game experience for two people. As part of the new multi-year agreement, Athletico will receive an array of marketing assets including in-game signage and scoreboard features, and will continue its support for the Bulls’ team charity, Chicago Bulls Charities. Athletico will continue to work with the team’s medical staff and will provide athletic training assistance during home games. As part of the new agreement, Athletico will also assist with athletic training services for the Bulls Entertainment Network (BEN), which includes the Luvabulls, Benny the Bull, Incredibulls, and all the Bulls performance teams.
