Ben Sher

Ben Sher is a Partner at BDT & MSD Partners, responsible for execution of both investments and advisory assignments. Prior to joining the firm, Ben was a Director in the investment banking division at Credit Suisse, where he spent more than a decade advising companies in the capital equipment, diversified industrial, chemicals and business services industries across a range of strategic and capital-raising assignments.

Ben is a director of Athletico, Cognita, and Universal Engineering Sciences. Ben serves as Co-President of the board to Camp for All Kids and as a board member on the Chicago chapter of the Next Generation Board to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Ben received an AB in History and Science from Harvard College, and a JD and MBA from The University of Chicago Law School and Booth School of Business.
