I got hurt at work and for six months, I struggled to find someone that actually listened to me. My name is Desiree, or to the Athletico Hanover Park family, Dez, I work in a warehouse where I had a really heavy package come down on me that also caused me to hit my head on one of our truck bumpers. I was dealing with non-stop headaches to the point where I could barely get out of bed; I was even missing work because of it. I also experienced dizziness, lights bothered me horribly, and loud noises just made the headaches worse . For six months I dealt with non-stop pain until I met Vani. She was very supportive and constantly telling me to stand up for myself. Thanks to her and the rest of the Athletico family I can now enjoy the sunlight; I don’t have to keep my blinds closed any longer. They gave me back my confidence and my life.
