Mark Kaufman Attends Cubs Care LuncheonAthletiCo’s president and founder, Mark Kaufman, recently joined Art Mollenhauer, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago, at this year’s Cubs Care Luncheon on April 27.  The Cubs and the McCormick Foundation held the luncheon to announce this year’s Cubs Care grant recipients.  BBBS of Metro Chicago was one of nearly 50 non-profit organizations to receive a grant.

The mission of BBBS of Metropolitan Chicago is to empower our next generation through life-changing, high impact one-to-one mentoring.  Their vision is to be the Gold Standard in youth mentoring, serving “3,500” children through one-to-one mentoring relationships in our community-based and school-based programs.

Kaufman is actively involved with BBBS of Metro Chicago, serving on their Board of Directors for the past five years and acting as their Chairman of the Board since July 2009. AthletiCo employees recently participated in a Bowl for Kids’ Sake event raising more than $34,000 for the organization.
