Narrative around Core Value:

Darcie demonstrates the people-focused core value and always places the people around her first (i.e. patients, co-workers, referral sources, etc.). Many times the most important part of her care is the relationships she builds and how much dedication she places to each person. In regards to her coworkers, she spends extra time in the mornings and in the evenings to allow us to have set schedules that help with managing family needs and transportation. Hours of availability are always from open to close, regardless of situation and personal need. She puts the cares and desires of the patient first when advocating for further care with case workers and adjusters. Even when concerns were broughout up, she spends time speaking with the patient and to quell their issues with honest, integrity, and trust. Each patient profusely speaks of the care they have received underneath Darcie and enjoy their time. She is definitely a role model for others to follow when it comes to living out the core values of Athletico Physical Therapy, especially people-focused!
