Employee Involvement
Through various volunteer programs, our enthusiastic, dynamic staff takes an active role in building better communities where they live and work. Many of our employees generously support health and fitness programs as well other community initiatives and contribute their own personal time to many worthwhile causes. AthletiCo is proud of the support our employees show community organizations and causes that matter to them. We assist by providing volunteer programs and community-level charitable giving.

Arthritis Foundation Athletico works with the Arthritis Foundation to provide community outreach and education on the benefits of physical and occupational therapy and preventative fitness solutions for those suffering from arthritis. LEARN MORE |

Be The Match Foundation Athletico has supported the Be the Match Foundation since 2009 by hosting annual bone marrow registry drives. Athletico employees are encouraged to register to provide hope for patients with life-threatening blood diseases. LEARN MORE |

Chase Corporate Challenge The Chase Corporate Challenge is an annual series of 3.5-mile road races held to promote fitness in the workplace. Each year, Athletico sponsors a team made up of employees from various clinics and our corporate office. LEARN MORE |

Dreams for Kids Founded in 1989, Dreams for Kids is a volunteer-based children’s charity that breaks down social barriers to end the isolation of at-risk youth. Athletico’s partnership with DFK began in 2010 with an elementary school beautification project. |

Global Medical Brigades Athletico’s employees have traveled with Global Medical Brigades program since 2008, providing sustained healthcare relief to underserved communities throughout the world. The program focuses in the countries of Honduras, Panama, and Ghana. LEARN MORE |

Operation Walk Members of the Athletico team travel to the poorest countries to provide medical services to those in need. People who otherwise wouldn’t be given the opportunity to properly heal undergo necessary surgeries and subsequent rehabilitation. LEARN MORE |

Phones 4 Charity Cell Phone Drive Phones 4 Charity is a program designed to remove discarded wireless phones from the environment for the benefit of charities. Since 2008, Athletico has supported this program through an annual cell phone collection drive at each clinic. |

Red Cross Blood Drive Since its founding in 1881, the American Red Cross has been the nation’s premier emergency response organization. With the help of the Red Cross, Athletico has hosted a yearly blood drive since 2007. |

Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program Through the Salvation Army, Athletico gives employees and patients the opportunity to make a child’s Christmas brighter by selecting a gift tag from the Angel Tree displayed at each Athletico facility and our corporate office in Oak Brook. LEARN MORE |

Share Your Soles Shoe Drive Since 2006, Athletico has held an annual shoe drive to benefit impoverished communities where Share Your Soles distributes the shoes to those in the greatest need. Since 1999, they have delivered more than 11 million shoes. LEARN MORE |
