Hi Linn – Our vestibular trained clinicians perform thorough vestibular and oculomotor examinations, which includes positional testing for BPPV. BPPV can effect different semicircle canals and occur in different forms, if the clinician suspects posterior canalithiasis BPPV then yes, the Epley’s maneuver or modified Epley’s maneuver is the ideal treatment to use. For any additional question, please reach out to a vestibular therapy clinician by emailing vestibular@athletico.com.
